2007  

 

AUGUST — Fill N Pack sold successfully for a second time. Alternative Packaging Solutions bought the Fill N Pack business from the former “MLD”. The new owner is also in the transportation and shipping industry as they have a Land/Star Agency and recognized the value and attributes of Corru-Fill® for international shipping.

 

JULY — Corru-Shred Inc has another company purchase the Corru-Shred Equipment to Manufacturer Corru-Fill® for their shipping. Signum Inc, an Ohio based plastic display manufacturer will be shipping with Corru-Fill® by the end of September.

 

APRIL — Corru-Shred Inc signs up new “MLD” for Indianapolis, IN. Horsefeathers Enterprises becomes the first Corru-Fill® distributor for IN. Horsefeathers is not new to recycling corrugated, they currently have a horse bedding business in which they use a shred material unlike Corru-Fill® that they sell to Horse farms and Alpaca farms

2006  

 

JUNE – Corru-Shred Inc has had its first successful resale of an “MLD” licensed distributor. Fill N Pack Inc, one of the first “MLD” License’s issued in April 2003 was recently profitably sold to a former FedEx employee route driver. The new lady owner became very familiar with Corru-Fill® and its quality attributes that prevent breakage from the accounts she serviced that were using the product. That was enough to convince her to change avocations when the business became available.

 

APRIL – Packaging Online’s, Paperboard Packaging Magazine wrote a nice article containing a strong reference for the Box company’s that are moving out side the box to increase their revenue.They did an interview with Mr. Mike Stec of Alpha Packaging located in Greenwood, AR. In the article, Stec talked about the success they have had selling Corru-Fill®. Alpha Packaging was the first box company to buy a Corru-Shredder™ in May, 1999 to convert their scrap corrugated cuts and box blems into Corru-Fill® and they are still at it. The Mix It Up article talks about Converters, and how they are going beyond paperboard packaging to retain customers and gain new business. Corru-Fill® the perfect synergy business for converters.

 

JANUARY – Corru-Shred Inc. welcomes Practic Pak Inc aboard as the first “MLD” license distributor in Columbus, OH. Practic Pak becomes the first for the state and has set a nice shop to operate out of.

2005

 

 

DECEMBER — Corru-Shred’s online presents grows. Over the past few years Corru-Shred Inc and Corru-Fill’s® popularity continues to grow on the Internet as new users are attracted to this make sense solution to packaging and shipping finish goods. Companies like the Kit Factory, Olive Barn, Industrial Manufacturing News, American Recycler and Paperboard Packaging have all picked up on this growing movement to sustainability.

 

SEPTEMBER— Governors Association Packs Smart: New Biodegradable Packaging Product Corru-Fill® Chosen For National Governors' Association Meeting. When UPS sponsored shipping for this Summer's National Governors' Association Meeting in Des Moines, they chose a new biodegradable protective packing material made from recycled cardboard boxes. Corru-Fill® replaces both packing peanuts and bubble-wrap, both non-degradable petrochemical products, with a single protective packing fill that reduces damages.

 

MAY – Corru-Shred Inc, by request has created a new full time or part time business opportunity for entrepreneurs as a “Certified Corrugated Consultants”. These individuals will enter the Corru-Shred training program to become certified and will then be qualified to build their businesses as “Certified Corrugated Consultants”. This certification will enable them to consult with both the retail and commercial businesses and provide a new niche for the shipping of their finish goods. “CCC” can provide companies a new recycling opportunity that can save companies thousands of bottom line dollars. These consultants will work in concert with the local MLD in their area.

 

APRIL – Corr-Tex begins business as a “MLD” distributor in the Greater Houston Texas area. Local businesses gain interest through promotion of the “Free Recycling
Presentation” and an advanced sales effort.

 

MARCH – Corrugated Solutions LLC makes headlines in an article in “The Des Moines Register” that highlights how Corru-Fill® helps save the environment through corrugated recycling.

2004

 

 

NOVEMBER – CORR-A-PAQ begins its venture as a “MLD” distributor serving the San Francisco Bay area. Two former UPS supervisors, that are packaging industry veterans with over 40 years collective experience in the packing and shipping business, aggressively take on the challenge of sales and service in this large, ecologically minded metropolitan area.

 

OCTOBER – Corrugated Solutions LLC opens its “MLD” distributorship in Des Moines, Iowa. Corrugated Solutions obtains a significant grant, as environmental and recycling company, to assist them in the financing their operation. The grant was offered through the State of Iowa Department of Natural Resources. OCTOBER – Bits & Pieces Recycled Packing Material opens its “MLD” distributorship in Las Vegas, Nevada and begins to service UPS and the Las Vegas business community.

 

SEPTEMBER – Eco-Pak is featured as an up and coming business in an article with color pictorials on the Green Page of “The Boulder County Business Report”.

 

JULY – Corru-Shred’s New Business Concept is a featured press release on “Operations & Fulfillment” magazine’s website.

 

MAY – New Corru-Shredder™ equipment is delivered to a large Fulfillment House in Long Island, NY. The company immediately begins to realize significant savings in bottom line dollars using the Corru-Shredder™ equipment. Savings are passed on to customers and shipping damage claims are greatly reduced.
MAY – Eco-Pak, Inc. opens its “MLD” operation to serve Greater Denver and the surrounding Colorado communities. Located in Centennial, Colorado Eco-Pak begins manufacturing and sales of Corru-Fill®. UPS is one of the first companies to begin using Corru-Fill®. “Free Recycling Presentations” are offered to companies making it possible for them to better utilize their corrugated waste stream.

 

MARCH – APRIL – Corru-Fill® is now being used to pack with by counter clerks and sold to retail customers at UPS Center Customer Counters throughout South Florida. February – “Pollution Equipment News” runs a feature article about Corru-Fill® and the Corru-Shredder™ equipment resulting in a large number of reader inquiries.

2003

 

 

SEPTEMBER – “Recycling Product News” runs a news article about Corru-Fill® and the Corru-Shredder™ equipment promoting corrugated recycling.

 

SEPTEMBER - Corru-Shred Inc launches its national Ad campaign over the Internet. Corru-Shred seeks to recruit new "MLD's and BLD's " across the USA.
AUGUST - Bio Pak Inc located in Hialeah FL, becomes the third "MLD" to sign onto the new "MLD" program. Bio Pak will service the North Dade County business community as well as the UPS Center in Hialeah, FL. Bio Pak should have their equipment before the end of the year.

 

 JULY - "MLD's" are ready to start making Corru-Fill®. The two new Corru -16D-2 machines have arrived for Fill N Pack Inc, Pompano Beach, FL and Enviro Pak Inc, Deerfield Beach,FL. Both companies have plenty of corrugated to get started and customers are waiting.

 

APRIL - Earth Day Fair in Broward County is first public dubut of the new "MLD's". Enviro Pak Inc and Fill N Pack Inc both shared a booth and put on the first public hands on showing of Corru-Fill®. Passing out literature and giving out sample boxes of Corru-Fill® as door prizes.

 

MARCH - Wisteria Corp., Dallas, TX, a long time user of Corru-Fill® for the shipping of exotic antique items, becomes the first company to purchase the new Corru-Shredder model C-16D-2 and the Corru-Slitter C-SLD-2.

 

FEBRUARY - Corru-Shred Inc accepts its first two independent "MLD's" Their corporate names are Enviro Pak Inc and Fill N Pak Inc. They will go through the training program to become "Certified Corrugated .Recycling Specialist".
JANUARY - Corru-Shred Inc announces the last leg of the sales and marketing program. The new program is called the "Tugboat Jumpstart Program". This program was designed to allow qualified entrepreneurs an opportunity to join Corru-Shred as an "MLD"Manufacturing Licensed Distributor.

2002

 

 

NOVEMBER - Corru-Shred Inc gets ready to launch its first program to recruit independent entrepreneurs, to become Manufacturing Licensed Distributors "MLD". This program allows the individual entrepreneur to work in a strategic alliance with the local licensed box company "BLD". The program allows both the "MLD" and the "BLD" to build their businesses while taking advantage of all the synergies that each have when working together.

SEPTEMBER - Corru-Shred Inc has a meeting with UPS Service Claim Supervisors in Hialeah FL. The meeting took place to discuss the setting up of the 28 UPS Service Counters in South Florida.

AUGUST - UPS Professional Services completes its testing and evaluation on Corru-Fill®. Results show "No Damage" in a series of extensive packing tests, from Wine Glasses, Wine Bottles, Vases to Five Gallon Glass Water Jugs. As we always said "From an Egg to an Anvil".

JULY - Corru-Shred Inc. selects Orange County Container Inc, in The City Of Industry, to be the first Licensed Distributor for the State of California. "OCC" will be the Corru-Fill® service provider and support for the new UPS Service Centers in Los Angeles, County. They will also develop the use of Corru-Fill® in the Retail and Commercial markets.

APRIL - Corru-Shred Inc. meets with UPS representatives for the Los Angels area. Corru-Shred Inc. begins the selection process for a Licensed Distributor to service  Los Angeles, County .

FEBRUARY - Corru-Shred Inc. is contacted by UPS Service Centers in Los Angeles, CA. they have heard about the program in Seattle, WA and would also like to get started in the Los Angeles, County area.

JANUARY - Corru-Shred, Inc. is invited to provide a seminar in Addison, IL for UPS Professional Services Testing Labs.

2001

 

 

DECEMBER - The first seven UPS Service Centers begin using, repacking and selling Corru-Fill® through the local Corru-Shred Licensed Distributor, Allpak Container.
AUGUST - Allpak Container is selected as the Licensed Distributor for the Seattle, Washington area.
FEBRUARY - New Recycling Sales Agent training is introduced and approved.

2000

 

 

MARCH - The US Defense Department expands on preliminary testing of Corru-Fill®.
JANUARY - Columbia Packaging a Unisource company buys a small Corru-Shredder.

1999

 

 

NOVEMBER - Sun Container, Inc. becomes the Licensed Distributor for Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
JUNE - UPS in Atlanta requests information and suggests that sample Corru-Fill® be sent for testing.
MAY - Aromaland, Inc. in Santa Fe, New Mexico becomes the first company to order the new small Corru-Shredder.
APRIL - The US Department of Defense begins testing of Corru-Fill® for use at the New Cumberland, PA., E.D.C. facility.
FEBRUARY - Alpha Packaging, Greensboro, Arkansas becomes the first Licensed Distributor for Corru-Shred, Inc.

1998

 

 

OCTOBER - Corru-Shred, Inc. develops the new Corru-PackerT for the dispensing of Corru-Fill®.
SEPTEMBER - Press Releases given to the Packaging Industry of the "New Equipment" developed by Corru-Shred, Inc. develops immediate interest and responses.

1997

 

 

JANUARY - Corru-Shred, Inc. continues its research and development of the new affordable Corru-Shredder.

1996

 

 

JANUARY - Corru-Shred, Inc. is founded and begins development of the new equipment that will be economical to run and very cost effective for the industry.

1995

 

 

DECEMBER - NDL is sold to another public company but the Corru-Shredder is not part of the sale.

1994

 

 

JANUARY - Continues the exclusive use of Corru-Fill® for all its shipping.

1993

 

 

MAY - NDL ends the local sale of Corru-Fill®, but continues to use it for its own needs.
APRIL - BioCycle cover story develops National and International interest in Corru-Fill® and companies wanting to buy the Corru-Shredder.  NDL could not help them.  There was no commercial machine development at the time.
MARCH - A video documenting the success and customer's satisfaction with Corru-Fill® and the pilot program is completed.

1992

 

 

NOVEMBER - NDL pilot program  had grown to about 75 companies having success packing and shipping with Corru-Fill®.
AUGUST - Corru-Chem™ development is completed.
July - NDL found it was in a "Pilot Program" of local companies, which included all types of business both large and small.
MAY - NDL received requests from these companies to continue to sell the product.
MARCH - NDL started to give away Boxes of Corru-Fill® to other companies in our park.
JANUARY - NDL started to use the first Corru-Shredder to make Corru-Fill®.  NDL's customer base included every major account in the sporting goods industry including K-Mart, Wal-Mart, Sports Authority, Champs, Big Five, Etc.  NDL immediately sees bottom line savings concerning the removal costs of Corrugated as well as the elimination of all costs associated with the use of other packing materials.  "Peanuts", Bubble Wrap and Brown Recycled Craft were the major packing materials used but no longer needed.

1990

 

 

NDL started development of the first prototype Corru-Shredder to "recycle" its incoming Corrugated Boxes "OCC" into a new packaging loose fill called Corru-Fill®.
